We are called to enjoy God and one another — sharing our gifts and burdens, learning, challenging ourselves, and growing as a family.
EVENTS
We are constantly adding new events to our calendar, all of which can be viewed here. They are great entry points to get to know people.
GROUPS
Groups meet at different locations and times and have different emphases.
Some are community focused, like having weekly meals and spending time together.
Others are more learning oriented — working through Bible passages, devotionals or topical selections throughout an academic quarter.
Still others are service oriented. These are opportunities for us to get out on mission, whether that is working alongside our Foster Care teams, signing up with Serve Seattle, or others.
In each case, Groups foster deep and lasting relationships and keep us anchored as a community.
SERVICE
The unique inspiration of Christian service is of course that Jesus gave up everything to serve us. We count it a privilege and a joy to serve one another and our Seattle neighbors.
On Sundays alone we provide nursery, teaching, safety, liturgy, coffee, greeting, youth, music, and more every single week. Beyond the church walls, many of us clean and renovate homes, chaperone youth missions, and make meals for new parents.
We believe God has called us to love our neighbors whatever our particular gifts may be. And in serving others we become participants in His ever growing kingdom.
